People love watching train wrecks—and I’m happy to oblige. Because sharing these stories has taught me not to take life so seriously. And through my experiences with the blog I’ve found that honestly sharing my most humiliating stories not only makes people laugh, but helps them with their own problems.
My ex (for many reasons) used to write me love notes and his grammar and spelling are horrible. I felt bad about it, but I could not read his writing without correcting his errors in my head. You see, a big part of my job is editing documents written by lawyers, doctors, and others with advanced degrees. He even once wrote a poem and was so proud, he framed it before he gave it to me.
