Them Fightin' Words

You know what's great about my blog? It's the fact that once in awhile, I can hit a nerve...or 100. Take yesterday for example...I posted a column regarding my thoughts on certain "sports fans" that either are fair weather, bandwagon and of course, the typical hater. Basically, the point I tried to convey was, "Why do fans feel the need to spend countless hours hating other teams they dislike by blowing up the Facebook and Twitter News Feeds?" I noted that I hate a lot of teams, but don't waste my time throwing jabs at them every time they play. Why? I fucking hate them for a reason, right? Anyway, once the column posted, my thoughts were shared...to a lot of mother fuckers. The great part was that it did exactly what I knew it would do...cause a buzz that would piss people off to a point that I was being personally attacked by people I don't fucking know and could care less about. That post alone got 300 hits in less than 2 hours and was shared within the Facebook connection line over 40 times. Job well done? Damn fucking straight.

The interesting thing though, was how ignorant some of these people sound. Here I am making a case about a certain group of fans and all of the sudden, I'm tagged as a faggot and a hater that doesn't know shit about sports...oh, and all Lakers fans are alike. Great shit, right? See, any non-angry person that read this got a good laugh, made a smart ass comment, then moved on. Flip the script to the angry-by-way-of-life individual, who can barely read...holy shit. Angry much? Two words: Life Coach.

You know that saying,"The truth hurts?" Well my friends, the truth about my column hurt a lot of folks and pissed them off. It's people like this in our society that read something then translate it to something completely different. I mean, some people were going off about shit that didn't even pertain to them. It's these people that will get a text from someone that says,"Hey what's up?" And all of the sudden, Angry Magee translates that to, "This mother fucker wants to fight, trying to call me out." Think I'm joking? I wish I was. I had to have seen 5 different Facebook messages on different walls with these angry ass people. Funny thing...I win, you lose.

Hey, I blog shit that is either factual, way over exaggerated, or both. The good thing is, I take heat for a lot of shit and don't give two fucks. Why? Because it gets what I need...HITS, VIEWS, READERS. Someone said my blog was a front. I really wish I knew what that meant and I really wish I knew what half these people with Junior College degrees talk about on a day-to-day basis. Not saying that all people that went to Ju-Co are idiots but lets be real people. Junior College is basic arithmetic. See, writing that probably pissed off 90 people but I don't care. That's the truth. And like I said, "The truth hurts."

So to all you people that were offended, angry, think I'm an idiot, faggot...blah, blah, blah...I have one thing to say to you - Thanks! Thanks for taking the bait and getting so worked up on a bunch of words put on the internet. Not only do you waste your time posting shit about teams you hate on Facebook and Twitter, but you're angry at me for writing a blog column about something you shouldn't even care about. Now I'm sure someone will dissect what I'm saying, then have some GRAND argument to make me look stupid. I'll congratulate you now for a job well done! Go ahead and say whatever the fuck you want angry people. You're just taking my bait again and giving me what I want. True story.
